This 6-night adventure will be hosted at both Bundox Safari Lodge and Bundox Explorer Camp on the banks of the Olifants, in the Greater Kruger region.

The Expedition offers a captivating birding walk in the renowned Mariepskop Forest where the rare Narina Trogan, Taita Falcon and Blue Swallows can be seen, an exciting kayak water-bird tour, a birding trail, and ending off with an informative talk by the Endangered Wildlife Trust where many endangered birds are monitored, bred and rehabilitated into the wild. A seat on this expedition will also include a donation to Endangered Wildlife Trust.

Birding week

Predator expedition

Okavango Delta, Botswana


This Birding Expedition will take place in the well-known Okavango Delta and Moremi Nature Reserve at Mankwe Tented Retreat and Mopiri Camp.

The varied ecosystem in this region comprises mopane woodlands, savannah grasslands, lagoons and pans, swampy marshes, and riparian vegetation. This extension of Mankwe’s traverse, in addition to the day game drives into the Moremi, adds plenty of scope for incredible birding sightings while on safari.

This birding expedition will keep you entertained and ready for more! 

Moremi, Botswana

Led by Ecologist, Dr Christiaan Winterbach, and guide KT, this enchanting adventure will offer you the opportunity to view large and small carnivore species of Botswana.

Daily expedition trips will include spoor identification, understanding ecological and survey techniques, lion and other predator identification, and predator behaviours.

This tour will take no more than 6 guests, offering a fantastic photographic experience for each traveller. All guests will have their own window seat with better viewing and a more individualised experience.
