Bundox Safari Lodge is located in the Greater Kruger area with easy access into the Kruger National Park where South Africa's most diverse population of wildlife and birdlife resides. Enjoy seeing the Big 5 among many other species out on game drive.

Following in the footsteps of the herbivorous mammals are the carnivorous species of the South African bush. Lion, leopard, hyena, cheetah, African wild dog, and the Nile crocodile are some of the prominent predators residing in the Kruger region. Smaller predators include jackal, mongoose, civet, and genet, among others.

Some of the world’s largest mammals find their home in South Africa, where elephant, giraffe, hippo, buffalo, and rhino reside in the wild Kruger Park. Game drives into the famous National Park and surrounding private reserves lead to unforgettable sightings of these large species, in addition to general game, such as zebra, impala, kudu, gnu, waterbuck, bush buck, duiker, and steenbok.

The various habitats in the Lowveld accommodated a complete smorgasbord of birder’s delights. Water bird species are abundant near rivers and waterways, while summer brings in the migrant species, which fleck colour through the trees. Grassland and forest orientated birds are found in their habitats, and birds of prey are seen and heard throughout the day.
