Upon your arrival at Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit, your guide will meet you in an open safari vehicle for a swift 20-minute transfer to Bundox Safari Lodge. A refreshing drink awaits you upon arrival, followed by a guided tour of your tent. Take ample time to settle in and familiarize yourself with the lush forest-like surroundings. Later, indulge in a 60-minute spa treatment at Spa@Bundox.

Upon your return, take a moment to freshen up for pre-dinner drinks. Unwind by the fire in our open-air boma, sharing stories about life in the bush, before savoring a delightful three-course dinner in our restaurant.

You’ll be up very early for the start of a full day of adventure in the legendary Kruger National Park! With fresh coffee and rusks in our reception area before departing before dawn for the 40-minute drive to the Orpen Gate in an open safari vehicle, you’ll also receive a packed breakfast to enjoy either en route or at a scenic spot in the park.

The world-renowned Kruger National Park is one of the highlights of South Africa. It’s home to a diversity of species including the fabled Big Five. The area you will traverse is one of the most game-rich regions of the park, renowned for its predator and elephant sightings.

You will stop at Satara Rest Camp restaurant for lunch (for your account) before continuing your explorations, arriving back at camp just before sunset with time to freshen up and enjoy pre-dinner drinks around the fire while reminiscing about the day’s amazing sightings before dinner is served.

Indulge in a more leisurely morning! After a delightful breakfast, make your way to the picturesque Blyde Dam for a serene boat cruise, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the impressive Blyde Canyon and the iconic Three Rondavels. This canyon ranks as the world’s third largest and is celebrated as the largest green canyon, thanks to its lush subtropical vegetation. Your cruise will be skillfully guided by an experienced tour guide, offering insights into the dam’s geological and natural wonders.

Upon your return to the lodge, take some personal time for lunch (at your own expense) and relaxation before your afternoon adventure begins.  This extraordinary afternoon journey includes a guided game drive through a neighbouring private reserve nestled within the renowned Greater Kruger National Park, known for its iconic Big 5 inhabitants. Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the African wilderness as expert guides lead you through this pristine landscape, providing a captivating wildlife experience. Witness the grandeur of the Big 5—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses—in their natural habitat. As the day draws to a close, savour sundowners in the bush before returning to the lodge to freshen up for dinner.

As your remarkable journey concludes, relish in another splendid sunrise in the African bush. Commence your day early with a refreshing coffee on a nature walk, soaking in the serene surroundings. Following breakfast, anticipate your collection for a seamless transfer back to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport, marking the commencement of your onward journey.
