Day 1

Where you’ll be – Arrive at Bundox Explorer Camp

Where you’ll be – Bundox Explorer Camp, transferring to Bundox Safari Lodge
What you’ll do – Early morning game drive, breakfast and depart for Bundox Safari Lodge with afternoon spa treatments

Day 4

Where you’ll be – Bundox Safari Lodge
What you’ll do – After breakfast you’ll have a morning at Spa@Bundox, a picnic lunch, time at leisure and dinner at the lodge

Day 5

Where you’ll be – Bundox Safari Lodge and depart for onward journey
What you’ll do – Early morning bush walk followed by breakfast and departure

Your expedition in detail

Day 1

You’ll arrive at the Olifants West Gate, either driving yourself or by road transfer from Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport (approximately 30 minutes), where you will have been met by your driver.
At the gate you will pay your conservation fees and be met by our guide who will drive you to Bundox Explorer Camp in an open safari vehicle.
On arrival you’ll be shown around the camp and have time to settle into your safari tent.
If you arrive in time, you will enjoy a light lunch before departing on your afternoon/evening game drive.
You will stop for sundowners in the African wilderness to raise a glass to the setting sun.
On return to the camp, we will have pre-dinner drinks around the camp fire and then enjoy a wonderful three-course meal.
Overnight at Bundox Explorer Camp.

Day 2

You’ll wake up just as dawn is beginning to break and enjoy a quick coffee and rusks before heading out on a morning game drive.
There will be a coffee stop en-route, allowing you to get off the game vehicle, stretch your legs and enjoy a hot beverage and cookies.
On return to camp you’ll dig into a hearty breakfast and the rest of the morning will be at leisure.
Relax on the viewing deck. Have a dip in the pool. Or enjoy a siesta in your tent.
You’ll enjoy a light lunch before departing on your afternoon/evening game drive, stopping for sundowners once more.
Dinner will be in camp on your return.

Day 3

Wake up early for your last morning game drive or bush walk (depending on conditions) and venture out into the reserve in search of iconic wildlife species.
Return to camp for a hearty breakfast before bidding farewell to Bundox Explorer Camp and being driven back to the Olifants West Gate for your transfer or self-drive to Bundox Safari Lodge (approximately 40 minutes).
On arrival at Bundox Safari Lodge you’ll have the chance to settle in before your afternoon spa treatment at Spa@Bundox.
Enjoy a private dinner under the stars at Bundox Safari Lodge.

Day 4

Wake up at leisure and enjoy a wonderful breakfast before spending the morning at Spa@Bundox for more wonderful spa treatments.
Lunch today will be a wonderful picnic surrounded by nature at Bundox Safari Lodge.
Spend the afternoon at leisure, besides one of our lovely swimming pools or just relaxing.
Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 5

Get up early for a guided bush walk through the surrounding nature sanctuary, stopping en-route for coffee and rusks.
Your stay at Bundox Safari Lodge ends with a fabulous breakfast before being transferred back to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport for your onward flight or departing on your onward journey.
