What you’ll do – Upon reaching the camp, allocate some time to get comfortably settled. Subsequently, engage in an Expedition briefing and orientation within this charming camp, which boasts panoramic views of the northern Drakensberg Escarpment. Later in the day, participate in an afternoon game drive in the Big 5 area, ensuring an immersive and memorable wildlife experience.

What you’ll do – Embark on a dawn safari exploration, enhanced by supplementary morning and afternoon/evening game drives, offering abundant chances to submerge yourself in the untouched African wilderness. Enhance your safari experience by indulging in sundowners during these drives, imparting a delightful aspect to your adventure. Revel in the comfort of home-cooked meals and exceptional hospitality consistently offered at the camp throughout your journey.

Day 3

Khanya Tented Camp

After an early morning safari and breakfast, transfer into the Balule North region of the Greater Kruger area. Your next base is Khanya Tented Camp, a conservation-focused camp where the safari experience moves beyond sightings alone. After arrival, head out on an afternoon or evening game drive, allowing you to settle into this new landscape through wildlife viewing, field interpretation, and a stronger sense of the conservation story behind the reserve.

Day 4

Khanya Tented Camp

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast on the deck at Khanya Tented Camp. After a light lunch and time to relax at camp, continue the experience with an afternoon cruise along the Olifants River, adding a water-based perspective to the wilderness. The day closes with another game drive, connecting safari, river ecology, and conservation-focused exploration into one purposeful day in the Greater Kruger.

Departure: Khanya Tented Camp

After a final morning in the bush, bid farewell to Khanya Tented Camp and transfer back to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport, or if you are doing the Live Wild Plus package, you are all set for your next activity.
